Dumplings

egg, slightly beaten{1}
0.5 cup milk
0.5 tsp salt
flour

Mix ingredients and add enough flour to make a sticky
, but not dry, dough. Drop by teaspoonfuls into rapidly boiling, salted water. Boil for about 20 minutes, covered. Do not peek or you will break the water seal. Drain. Good in stew or serve with melted butter.
