Ham and Vegetable Casserole
3 cups canned tomatoes
1 Tbsp sugar
1 bay leaf
1 slice ham (3/4 inch thick, cubed)
rice, uncooked{0.5 cup}
carrots, sliced{3}
onions, chopped{3}
Cook tomatoes, sugar, and bay leaf for 10 minutes. Then remove bay leaf. Arrange ham, rice, carrots, and onions in layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
